another fish piece, this one showing off my own take of on the whole yin yang koi thingy...

inspired by avatar ;)...season 1 finale...

pen, acrylic and watercolor, colored pencil, quarters, nickels and dimes, aluminum sheet, silver enamel and stufffff on wood panel approx. 11"x11"

i loooove the way the wood texture looks with this, especially on the scales. i want to touch it. the coins are genius.

Yay, mixed media. Sometimes it's had to make symmetrical compositions "un-boring" but this is just sweet.

This reminds me of a book that I used to read when I was little. It had a fish w/ pretty scales like those.

I love how this was done. It's very inventive. And w/ my 2 favorite spirits. ^_^
